The Cambridge Experience

Cambridge Schools are committed to providing an excellent education that meets each child’s interests, abilities and needs as the teaching staff challenges each student to develop in all areas of growth and development.

Cambridge Schools are proud of our teaching staff first and foremost. Their interactions with your children are the most powerful determinant of learning outcomes and of your child’s development. The child-choice and teacher planned activities are vital to your child’s development and learning.

The children learn in a small size class with teachers working and guiding and challenging each child every day.

At Cambridge Schools, the children start their day with planned and meaningful hands-on, brains-on activities developing, handwriting, language and literacy, math and science skills. Throughout the day, the children engage in different circle times that are designed for learning the days of the week, months of the year, rhythms, rhymes, language development and sequential math skills.

Cambridge learning centers are designed for unique and exciting Early Childhood experiences. Creative Art, Dramatic Play, Handwriting, Language and Literacy, Math, Music and Science are intentionally planned for the children and teachers to work together and for the child to work independently as they gain skills in all foundational areas.

The hands-on, brains-on activities planned for Cambridge children allow our children to make important decisions about their day as they gain control over their own unique learning process.

The journey of learning begins with the Toddler and Two Year Old Programs. These children are learning all about their world through colors and shapes and their discovery of all activities through their developing 5 senses. The Three and Four Year Old Programs begin their journey of learning the alphabet, letter by letter incorporating the Letter Bucket. They will also be using the Get Set for School; a nationally renowned Pre-K curriculum that focuses on learning to develop drawing, early math, literacy and handwriting readiness. Cambridge Pre-Kindergarten children begin their journey of learning exploring phonics, math, reading and writing. The Handwriting Without Tears™ Program aligns new skills alongside the robust Cambridge curriculum.
